Project overview
Conquest Electrical was appointed to carry out the design and installation of the electrical services at White City Place, London for the client Orchard Therapeutics, a fast-growing drug discovery company, converting circa 20,000 sq ft into a high-quality CL2 laboratory and stylish office accommodation. The installation works were performed over a course of circa 5 months and came with considerable coordination challenges due to the space configuration, construction detail and plant area distribution and availability.
Scope of Works
The scope of works included the design and build of all power supplies, including design and installation of new sub mains from generator backup supply, UPS installation, lighting, data and fire alarm systems for new laboratory areas, and testing. Key deliverables included Containment System, Small Power, New LV Switchgear, UPS Systems, Lighting & Lighting Control, Mechanical Power, Data & Telecoms, Fire Detection & Alarm, and Testing & Commissioning.
Results
The completed works comprised the electrical design and installation of services for the CL2 laboratory and office accommodation at White City Place, including power supplies, sub mains, UPS installation, lighting, data, fire alarm systems, and testing and commissioning.
