Project overview
Conquest Electrical carried out the design and installation of the electrical services on the 3rd Floor, Rolling Stock Yard, Kings Cross, London for the client PacBio, an American biotechnology company, which wanted to set up a UK headquarter in London with state-of-the art demonstration area to display their product and train their scientific clients. The project involved sub-dividing the floor into open instrument laboratory to host 10 sequencing systems with a sample processing area. A sample preparation lab and storage area were created to support the instrument lab. Full electrical installation design and works comprised of CATB fit out, including associated mains switchgear, UPS systems, Underfloor power systems, general and specialist internal lighting and lighting control systems, Small Power, testing and commissioning.
